  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 is going to be 60 degrees. Let's go around Randall's Island. We are going to stop at that island for a water break, and to eat something. The water is still very cold, so wear a dry suit, etc.
  • Skill level: Intermediate / Winter Paddle
  • Meet at noon
  • Launch at 12:30  PM
  • Slack at Hell's Gate/Randall at 3:20 PM and ebb begins
  • Return at 5:00 PM
  • Release: In the afternoon...

Wear a dry-suit (mandatory), boots, gloves and a hat in case you get wet, and bring water, tea, a snack, etc.
