KAYAK: Saint Valentine at Hell's Gate

  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

If you are a winter paddle member, and you paid the extra $50, come to this trip to Hell's Gate. Bring some love to celebrate Valentine on the water. Our club has some dry-suits that you can use. Air temperature is going to be 55 degrees and sunny, but the water is still freezing  cold, around 36 degrees. After the trip we 're going to have some drinks and food at our club. Bring something to share.

Wear a dry-suit (mandatory), boots, gloves and a hat in case you get wet, and bring water, tea, a snack, etc.
