Williamsburg Bridge: City Lights

Sunset cruise down to Williamsburg Bridge. Technically we'll launch after sunset but we'll enjoy the afterglow and see the skyline light up from the river.

For anyone who has done winter training but haven't paddled in awhile, this is perfect chance to get used to wearing winter gear and learn our new protocols at Queens Landing.

This is also a warmup trip for a paddle down to Red Hook / Valentino Park ( which will take place either Sat 12/9 or Sun 12/10 )

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Prerequisites: Winter Paddler training
  • 5:00pm - Meet at Queens Landing
  • 5:30pm - Launch
  • 6:30pm - Low Slack at WB
  • 7:30pm - Release

What to bring?

  • Winter paddling gear ( dry suit, gloves, booties, hat )
  • snacks and water
