Hello friends of NBCB!
Public Paddles are the heart of North Brooklyn Community Boathouse, a chance to show the community the waters belong to all of us, and a way to help friends and neighbors find joy in paddling.
We are having one last kayak Public Paddle on Oct 28th. It will be at a new (temporary) location for our kayaks: Queens Landing Boathouse and Environmental Center, 57-28 2nd St in LIC. If you haven't been, it's just across the creek from MASE, right here.
We are looking for help with:
The event will be from 10am to 1:30pm, plus time to set up and tear down. There will be two volunteer shifts:
Shift 1: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Shift 2: 12:00pm - 2:30pm
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Just email contact@nbcboathouse.org and let us know what shift you prefer.
