WAKE UP! Sunrise Paddle Upside the Head

The sun is TAUNTING us with increasingly late appearances and we shall TAKE ON THE SUN, paddling AGAINST THE CURRENT towards the Bushwick Inlet, from the back of which, legend has it, the sun emerges.

Early morning, vigorous paddling, ecstatic spiritual awakening.  are you UP FOR THAT?

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 6:30am sharp at Queens Landing (corner 54th Ave/2nd St. LIC)
  • Sunrise: 6:54am
  • Slack to Flood: 10:12am 19th St
  • Return & Release: 8:30am
  • Trip leader: Dewey
  • What to wear and bring

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Please no jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
