Intermediate Skills:
Strokes & Maneuvers in Bushwick Inlet

We got cancelled due to rain and wind but we're BACK!

This Skills workshop is for paddlers who want to learn or refine their intermediate strokes and maneuvers.   We'll work on  skills and techniques related to:

* Turning strokes
* Moving sideways
* Edging
* Bracing

Registrants need to have performed an on-the-water wet exit to participate. If that's not an experience you've had, we can take care of it on this trip in the safe waters of Bushwick Inlet.

  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 9:30am sharp at Queens Landing Boathouse 57-28 2nd St. LIC 11101
  • Launch Kayaks: 10:00am
  • Slack to Ebb: 10:20am 31st St

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Please no jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
