Short Sunset South,  Intermediate Kayakers Only Please

We'll paddle south until the current turns,  then we'll do a little sunset watching at the mouth of Newtown Creek. We may or may not get to the bridge.

Does not include instruction or assessments.

  • Skill level: Intermediate(see what this means here)
  • Meet:  5 PM sharp at Manhattan Avenue Street-End Park
  • Launch Kayaks: 5:20 PM
  • Slack: 6:25 PM and the Flood begins
  • Return: 7:30 PM to kayak launch
  • Release: 8:15  PM

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
