Kayak Beginner: Estuarilly Speaking
We launch on the Newtown Creek, a tributary of the East River which isn't a river but a tidal valve between Long Island Sound and NY Harbor and, to be honest, the creek isn't much of a creek either... But none of this will matter when you're out on the water, effortlessly stroking your craft towards a sense of oneness - and this is just a Beginner trip!
Dress to get wet, bring water. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing. You can store belongings in our container.
