- What to wear and bring
Come one and all, we're taking it easy on the river! We will gently guide our canoes out to the river and lightly paddle, or simply float* in the ebbing current. The sun will be setting, so depending on cloud cover, we may be awestruck or a little let down. If you're comfortable eating in a canoe, bring a picnic or baby-sized burrito. It's a paddle trip with some real potential!
Depending on conditions, I don't think we'll get much farther than Bushwick Inlet.
*You may have to paddle to keep from washing up along the shore
Oh, and if you have any questions about strokes or canoes, or have something cool to show me, I'll be happy to answer, or be enraptured, respectively. It can be a little skills & drillsy if you like.
