Bushwick Inlet is Magic
It actually is. Fenced off from (most) human interaction for over 50 years, it is an accidental nature preserve in the middle of the teeming Williamsburg waterfront. A stopping point for migrating birds, there are also blue crabs, herons, egrets, geese and a Billion Oyster Project seeding bivalves from floating docks. We're going to get there with the ebbing tide and soak it all up. This is a trip particularly good for paddlers just starting to paddle at the Intermediate level.
