  • For beginner kayakers who want to be assessed for intermediate
  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Hallets Cove or Bust.

Then we head up the East Channel of Roosevelt Island, land at Halletts Cove Beach, relax, have a snack, practice some skills, and head back

  • Skill level: Intermediate  (see what this means here).
  • Meet: 3:00 PM sharp at Manhattan Avenue Street-End Park
  • Launch Kayaks: 3:30 PM
  • Slack: 5: PM and the Ebb begins
  • Return: 6:45 PM
  • Release: 7:30 PM

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
