KAYAK: Beginner: Bushwick Inlet or Bust

  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

The tide looks good for a quick trip to the fabled (and endangered - more on that when we get there) Bushwick Inlet.  Last minute posting with the hope that we can get some paddlers who haven't been able to get on a trip yet.  Any beginner welcome.  If you're ready for trying a wet exit, this may be your chance.


  • Skill level: Intermediate (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 6pm sharp at Manhattan Avenue Street-End Park
  • Low slack: 7:20pm
  • Return & Release: 9pm

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Please no jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
