KAYAK: Women's BEGINNER paddle for our WFT (Women Femme Transgender) and nonbinary community

This program offers a friendly and inclusive environment for women and/or nonbinary people to learn to kayak and become comfortable with kayaking on NYC waters. After a short canoe paddle to our kayak launch on Newtown Creek we'll cover the basics of kayaks, safety and gear. Then we'll get on the water to learn and practice paddle strokes. Once comfortable we'll dip our toes into the East River to take in views of Hunters Point South Park.
