KAYAK: Intermediate: Sunset Roosevelt Circ

  • Registering as a Kayak Paddler. Make sure you've been assessed for the skill level of this trip before registering.
  • Only select this if you have been assessed as a NBCB Kayak Trip Assistant.

Sunset Roosevelt Circ 

We'll use the canoe shuttle to  the kayak launch. It will be a moderately paced paddle counter clockwise around Roosevelt Island. We will return after dark.

  • Skill level: Intermediate(see what this means here)
  • Meet:  6 PM sharp at Manhattan Avenue Street-End Park
  • Launch Kayaks: 6:45 PM
  • Slack: 8PM and the Ebb begins
  • Return: 9:00 PM to kayak launch
  • Release: 9:30  PM

Dress to get wet, bring water, a snack, etc. Avoid jeans or other heavy cotton clothing.
