  • Learn the basic knots needed to make paddling safer and easier. Include the reef knot, rolling hitch, clove hitch, bowline, and others.

Nautical Knots for Paddlers

Have fun learning the most useful knots for kayakers and canoers. Including the bowline, clove hitch, rolling hitch, square knot, lark's foot, and how to make off your boat to a cleat.

  • Skill level: All levels
  • Monday June 26th, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Please sign up, as space is limited to 25.  

Bring folding chairs or camp chairs as there is limited seating in the park.

Tying knots is thirsty work, so for those who'd like, we'll head to the Greenpoint Alehouse afterwards to celebrate our newfound nautical abilities.
