Newtown Creek Jaunt

  • Intermediate Skill level with room for a few beginners:  (see what this means here)
  • Meet: 6:00p at Manhattan Avenue Street End (MASE)
  • Container locked: 6:15p
  • Launch: 6:20p
  • Max  flood off 31st St.: 5:55 PM, Slack,  Ebb begins 8:56p
  • Sunset: 8:28p
  • Return: approximately 8:45p
  • Clean up, put canoes away until about 9p

We'll paddle in tandem canoes on Newtown Creek from MASE to the end of the Creek, paddling under the Grand Street Bridge.  Around 3 miles each way.
