Refresher for Trip Leaders and Assistants

  • Skill level:  Intermediate (see what this means here): Priority will go to NBCB TLs and TAs who want a refresher on river conditions and launch protocols. Other members can sign up if there is room but might have their registration canceled if a TL or TA needs the spot.

Let's get out and see the river. This is the first refresher opportunity for TAs and TLs to see the ferry traffic and feel the currents. Note that this trip is required for TLs and OPs who did not lead a member trip last season.

We'll head down to the Navy Yard and take in the scene and then go back and hang out in Bushwick Inlet and meet up with the counters from the Billion Oyster Project.
