NBCB Art Circle : Accordion Books from Repurposed Materials
We'll meet indoors. The second floor studio. Contact me if you are able to come early to help set up.
This month we'll fold, cut and glue to create an accordion book with pages and storage pockets. You'll hear some fun facts about recycling.
The books will be made from repurposed materials. We will provide scissors, glue, pencils and rulers, as well as basic cardboard and paper.
You don't need to bring anything, but if you can, please bring your own supplies/scissors/glue.
Suggested items:
Cardboard: cereal boxes, lightweight delivery boxes or any other cardboard, not too thick
Pages & pockets: magazine pages, large book pages, old wrapping paper or any other paper thin enough to fold.
Collage materials for decoration: old photos, images from magazines or books, ribbons, buttons, colorful string or anything else repurposed we can collage with.
It'll be fun to see what everyone brings!
Please bring food or drink to share. Fifth Hammer Brewery is downstairs
For those interested you can chip in toward pizza.
