While our boathouse is under construction, we will launch from our container at Manhattan Avenue Street End Park.

In conjunction with Billion Oyster Project and Friends of Bushwick Inlet Park, we are going to take 3 canoes down to the Inlet to ferry oyster cages from the floating rafts they hang from to the beach at Bushwick Inlet Park where volunteers will count and measure them (before we return them to the Inlet).  It's typically an easy paddle but there is ferry and other traffic on the East River and the wind can be a factor.

Remember to dress for water: noncotton clothes!
