With the canoes we'll paddle at a relaxed pace to the end of Newtown Creek (Grand St. bridge) and back. It's approximately 3 miles of paddling each way.
You do not need a drysuit, but dress sensibly for cooler water and air temps. NO COTTON. Dry pants or rain pants and paddle top suggested, but not necessary.
If there is a lot of CSO we might do a short paddle in the East River instead.
Meet at the boatyard at 1p. You'll notice the containers have been moved and are now closer to the water; we may have to take a little more time to get the boats out with the current configuration.
