Meet at the boatyard at 5:45p, we'll hop in the canoes and get on the water.
We'll take tandem canoes to the end of Newtown Creek (the Metropolitan St. end) and then we'll turn back and head to the mouth of the Creek (where it meets the East River). Hopefully we won't be delayed by any tug and barge traffic and will be in perfect position as the sun sets.
I can take a few beginner paddlers on this trip. When you register, please leave a note if you have sterned a canoe / are able to paddle in the stern (steering).
