Biology/Art: Oyster, Watercolors
ZOOM LINK BELOW
Oysters played a big role in the history and ecology of New York City. We almost lost our oyster population, but they are now making a major comeback and helping to clean up our waterways.
No painting experience required. We'll start with a 20 minutes slide show, then a guided watercolor triptych. We'll talk a bit about color theory to help you chose your colors.
The demonstration will use watercolors, but any colored art supplies are welcome.
