Biology/Art:Fungus Among Us-
Colored Pencil & Ink Illustration

It's not an animal and it's not a plant - it's a fungus!  One of the  four types of living Creatures!

Alternating between a slideshow  and art demo and art practice, we'll learn fascinating facts about fungus - Oldest fungus, largest, basic shapes.  And we'll learn to draw  a chanterelle, color it with pencils

Use any medium you prefer that allows for detailed work.- even just a plain pencil and copy paper.

Most drug stores sell colored pencils for less then $10, a great way to get started! If you like to invest I recommend artist grade pencils such as Prismacolor Premiere - available on line and at most local art shops.
