Ahoy Winter Kayakers!
A trip for the first 7 of you (assuming you've pitched in and paid the $50 Winter Paddling Fee) who confirm to tackle a circ of Gov's Isle on Monday afternoon.
You must have your own drysuit and are responsible for bringing appropriate gloves/pogies, hat, water and MASK. Please follow COVID protocols (safely distanced while in boatyard, masked always, sanitize your hands when possible...) and you must be able to answer NO to the following:
Have you tested positive for the Coronavirus?
Do you currently have any symptoms (cough, fever, loss of taste or smell...) of the Coronavirus?
Have you, in the past two weeks, been exposed to anyone who has the Coronavirus?
Weather looks balmy on Monday, partly cloudy with temps in the mid-40's. Brisk wind (10-12mph SW).
Meet at boatyard: 1pm (get there earlier if you need more time to suit up)
Launch: 1:30pm
Low slack (19th St): 2:57pm
Return around 4pm
