  • What to wear and bring
This is Fall, but the weather is still warm to paddle and learn skills such as forward stroke, back stroke, draw strokes and sweep. If we feel comfortable, we will try the wet-exit, T-rescue, heel hook and self-rescue. After all, kayaking is a water sport. These skills are very important for any kayaker at any level. Wear long sleeves, no cotton, and a wetsuit if you have it. It is better if you bring nose plugs and extra clothes to change after getting wet. The trip is to the area around Bushwick Inlet.
