On the waning flood, we'll slip past U-Thant and up the West Channel - the dark side of Blackwell's Island - blazing into Hell Gate and hooking around Mill Rock well before slack.
As one would expect, we will return to base via the East Channel on the building ebb. Time permitting, we can practice capsizing in Mill Rock's secluded lagoon, or, if feeling the inclination, stop for tea and biscuits at Hallet's Cove.
