Like feathers through an hourglass, the summer has flown. This is the last Friday-afternoon bird-watching trip for the 2019 season!

As we have all summer, we will meet at Manhattan Avenue Street End Park! (Map.)

A low-intensity paddle on Newtown Creek focusing on finding the birds! Binoculars will be provided, or bring your own.

We'll head up the creek and see who has arrived. We'll look for black-crowned night heron, blue heron, cormorants, swans, and other local and migratory birds.

We will meet at the park and then most likely walk to the old boatyard dock to use one of our brand-new 29' Langley canoes! See them in action here!
