Nautical Crafts:  Focus on Speedy Stitchers

Carry on the tradition of sailor's sewing, knot crafts,  and knitting. All crafts welcome, though.

This session you can learn about Speedy Stitchers. Speedy stitchers are quite useful in the nautical world as they are used to sew heavier materials, like sails and leather. Bring your speedy stitcher and heavy thread and fabric if you have it. We also will provide all materials needed.

Or just hang out and work on your own nautical or non-nautical craft.

Coming up: Make a Monkey Fist keychain!

We meet at the 5th Hammer Brewery in Long Island City

  • Do you have craft tools or yarn you no longer need? Bring yarn or craft supplies you'd like to give away for our craft swap!
  • Is there a project you are proud of or a book or new tools you enjoy, please share for our Bring & Brag.
