The currents are ripe for a perfect sunset. We will meet at the Barge Bar and paddle south to the Brooklyn Bridge. If there's time perhaps will stop and stretch our legs. The sun sets around 8:30, so we should have one hell of a view.
If you've come on a couple of skills & drills with me this season and you think you would like to try a long paddle please reach out. You must be comfortable and balanced in the boat - it's a long way south and we're not looking to swim.
IMPORTANT: This trip will launch at the Barge Bar. Make sure you bring identification showing that you are 21 years of age. When you arrive do not stand in line - head directly to the bouncer and let them know that you are here with the North Brooklyn Boat Club. as soon as you enter take a left (near the toilets) under the stairs.
