This trip is a continuation and expansion of the training in the big canoes from last weekend. We will paddle up to Hallets Cove on the flood tide, changing stern paddlers and bow paddlers along the way. We will also practice rescues!

It is meant for those who participated in the first event and other canoeists who want to be rated as stern paddlers in the Langley canoes. One major point of this past weekend's training was to enable those who took it to pass on the knowledge gained to others who want to learn how to operate these excellent craft.

So if you're interested in helping at public and educational trips or just increasing your ability with different kinds of crafts, please do sign up. In case we are oversubscribed, we will give priority to members who have volunteered at public and educational events.

We will do rescue practices in Hallets or Annable Basin -- so bring clothes that can get wet. And shoes that will stay on your feet in the water are a must!

If you're unsure whether you belong on this trip, please do just drop us a line.
