Once more, we venture around your insular city of the Manhattoes, belted round by wharves as Indian isles by coral reefs, in the harsh light of day! NBBC's first day-time circ of Manhattan was a smash hit! Let's do it again!

*This is a trip for advanced paddlers -- but by that we really mean in terms of endurance and goodwill! The trip in the Langley canoes does not require technical skills. What's most important is your willingness to be a part of a collaborative day-long effort.

The trip will be around ten hours of paddling with three breaks. We intend to let the river do as much of the work as possible. But all participants need to be ready to paddle and to deal with any weather or complications that might arise. (Though as of 9/19, the forecast looks nice!)

If you are not sure whether you are qualified for this trip, please e-mail Michael (mr.haskell at the gmail) to ask. We can take only paddlers who can with goodwill paddle for up to three hours at a stretch (three times in a row!).

We will be taking our big canoes, seven or eight people in each. You'll need to bring some food, money for other food, plenty of water, and clothes for any weather we might encounter.
