The price of liberty is eternal rescue practice. Or something like that. At any rate, we will load into tandem canoes and head down to Bushwick Inlet to practice dumping boats and rescuing them.

We will maintain a dry boat, and participation in rescues is completely voluntary. You can stay dry if you want to!

But if you want to practice rescues, wear clothes that can get wet! And you absolutely must wear shoes.

If conditions aren't good for rescues, we will head farther west on the river, maybe as far as Wallabout Bay.

If you have questions, please let us know.

Happy birthday, America. We'll be in the canoes.
