Skills and Drills and Drinks! For the first time we're gonna try it out at the Barge Bar. For some added adventure we'll be paddling AGAINST the current. If you're new to paddling this is a great opportunity to feel just how sticky the river can be when it's not flowing in your direction.
We'll head down to Bushwick Inlet (Very close! No ferries!) then scoot back up and grab a drink at the bar.
IMPORTANT: This trip will launch at the Barge Bar. Make sure you bring identification showing that you are 21 years of age. When you arrive do not stand in line - head directly to the bouncer and let them know that you are here with the North Brooklyn Boat Club. as soon as you enter take a left (near the toilets) under the stairs.
