With a sunny weather forecast, we will be paddling down the East River around Governors Island to Red Hook and depending on the conditions and our energy level, to the old Gowanus Bay terminal.
It is a longer trip in busy commercial channels and meant for seasoned paddlers only. Bring plenty of drinking water, snack or sandwich for a nice break at Valentino Peer.
