Learn about the marine invertebrate, the tunicate. Tunicates, also known as sea squirts, live in the East River and all over the world. Scientists use this fascinating creature to study plastic pollution in the water.
Make your own scientific illustration by coloring in a drawing of the tunicate anatomy.
No special skills required beyond using pencils to color.
Outline drawing on paper and pencils provided for registrants. You are welcome to bring your own colored pencils.
We'll spend 30 minutes learning about sea squirts, followed by a guided art lesson.
