Join NCA Executive Director Willis Elkins for a paddle on Newtown Creek as he explains the ins and outs of water quality testing, its importance and what to do with those findings. We will be paddling in one of our 29' canoes to provide the best group experience - no previous paddling experience required. Come dressed for the weather.
Spots on the canoe trip are limited (10). We charge a nominal fee to help ensure attendance; if the ticket cost is a barrier please contact us. We reserve the right to cancel the trip for weather or other reasons, we will notify registrants at least 12 hours in advance.
NBBC Members are welcome! Please join us. You'll still have to register through Eventbrite, but we'll refund members' fees on request, just email mattbrown312(at)gmail after the trip.
