Biology/Art: Painting Plankton

A fun class to learn about our marine  environment and,  similar to a coloring book, you'll color in an outline of your choice of plankton.

We'll help you use watercolors, oil pastels, and a graphite transfer to create a colorful drawing on professional grade watercolor paper.

All supplies included. No experience necessary.

We'll spend 30 minutes learning about plankton with a slide presentation and a video. Also, learn how to use professional grade art materials,  color theory and more.

Directions to the LICCBH

Bring food & drink to share if you like.

If  you can, please donate $5 - $10 to help reimburse us for art supplies.

Organized by Mary Lopez,  scientist, canoer  & musician,  and Monica Schroeder, scientific illustrator & kayaker,  monbertkayak@gmail.com
