Join us on September 18th for a composting workshop. We will cover the basics of successful composting in New York City and provide tips on best practices and troubleshooting. The North Brooklyn Boat Club has an onsite tumbler system and worm bin which we will discuss and investigate so everyone can understand how these systems are best used. The workshop will be led by Celeste McMickle, a compost educator with the New York City Compost Project hosted by the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.
