Once again we are invited to join paddlers from the NYC area clubs for an overnight trip to Sandy Hook. Paddling the full distance of ca. 25 miles with 5 miles of open water and bringing our own camping gear, this event is for our most experienced NBBC paddlers with stamina and solid know-how in self and T-rescue. Starting with paddling against a light current on both legs of trip (yep), we will be celebrating the end of the season with BBQ, fires pit and in the company of other influential NYC paddlers.
Due to the reserved space at the campground, this trip is limited to six advanced members. Participation is up to the full discretion of the trip leader and kayak committee with NBBC volunteers getting preferences.
