A post-paddle pot-luck in honor of Admiral Gimlet after heading to Hallets or around Roosevelt Island.  MEET AT 6pm.

Scurvy was once a common malady of sailors. Eventually, the connection to a lack of vitamin C was made, but how to get sailors to take their medicine? Admiral Gimlet was a wise man when he invented the Gimlet cocktail, a mix of Lime juice, simple syrup and gin.

Please bring nautically themed food & drink to share post paddle.

A post-work paddle, just long enough to forgot your landlubber life.

Each paddle will go a different route depending on the currents & conditions. Paddles may to to Anable Basin, Hallets Cove,  around Roosevelt Island or up Newtown Creek.

We might practice skills, battle against the current or just float around to watch the sunset.
