Rescue me! Or rather, let's all rescue one another! Or you can watch others rescue and get rescued!

This will be a refresher for those who have already taken ACA Level 2 courses and a primer for those looking to do so.

We will take (most likely) BIG canoes to Annable Basin (assuming the temperature continues to be in the billions) and practice swamping and rescuing them. This will likely include both our 25' voyageur-style and our 20' Grumman Peace Canoe, the Pon-Tiki. Probably. Might be tandems. We'll see what the crowd is like.

You don't have to participate in the rescues and swimming to come along on the trip: there's a convenient place to watch from shore.

If you are going to participate in the rescue practice: Bring clothes you can swim in! We will maintain a dry boat where we can store our belongings, but this is an in-water activity, and you will get wet. Wear clothes and shoes (shoes are absolutely mandatory) that can get wet and that will not come off (no flip-flops).
