Governors Island is featuring four free female-centric screenings throughout the 2018 season, inspired by the city we all call home.

This Saturday it's DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN (Susan Seidelman, 1985, 104m), with MY LAST FILM (Zia Anger, 2015, 9m).

Several sister boathouses are attending and having a "cold" (we're not grilling, but just bringing in dishes) BBQ before the event. 

So bring a dish or drink to share, and meet us there.

There's even a special drag performance by Monroe Sedgwick, inspired by the film. Come in costume if ya want. We encourage it.
