kayak trip & environmental education
Our organization continues to deliver environmental education to local organizations, educational institutions, school groups, as well as local community members.
25 aspiring environmentalists from the Sustainable Summer program are visiting our boatyard and learning about our environmental education, including the Ed Shed.
Their arriving and leaving by kayaks, launching and landing at Pier 2 Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse.
In order to prepare them for their on-water trip adventures, they'll be training with Brooklyn Kayak Guides the day before.
