This is a trip for Intermediate-level canoeists who can launch quickly and paddle at speed. If your skill level has not been verified by NBBC trip leaders, please get in touch before registering. Also, anticipate a wet-foot landing at Hallets Cove and wear shoes that can get wet!
We're going to have to work fast. The Costco Food Court closes at 8:30, and the line can be long. We're going to need all our skill and all our arts to get there in time. But I know we can do it. I believe in us!
So, after brutally efficient launch that see us on the water at 6:00, we are going to paddle as briskly as the ferries will allow us to in order to reach Hallets Cove and there wrest from an uncaring universe our spoils and write our destiny among the stars!
Or at least have a snack.
