Sebago Canoe Club is coordinating a hiking event at Inwood Hill Park and wanted to let us know that all boathouses are welcomed. It's a morning one, so let's make it back to the boatyard for some nautical knot-work!

Interested. Here's what you need to know:

"This month we'll get back to nature, Manhattan style. Join us this coming Saturday for a walk through the last natural forest in Manhattan, Inwood Hills Park. We'll not only enjoy a 4-5 mile woods hike with spectacular Hudson views, we'll also learn a little something about the history of our city ~ http://forgotten-ny.com/2000/04/inwood-hill-park/ . 


Details:

Location: Inwood Hills Park. We'll meet at DYCKMAN AND PAYSON entrance to the park.

Time: Meet at 10:30am

Equipment: Hiking shoes, water, snacks. camera.

Transportation: Subway....1 train to 215 street and a short walk to the park. Car............Let us know if you need or can offer a ride.

The weather outlook calls for partly sunny, high 40's and light winds.

 Perfect for a hilly hike so come join us and feel free to bring a guest.
