Nautical Knots & Hot Cider

Get ready for boating season by learning your nautical knots. 

Food & drink to share are welcome.

Please bring your own cup for hot cider.

Some of the easy knots we will cover are:

• Square Knot or Reef Knot 
  
• Bowline - to securely attach a painter line (many call this a bow line) to their kayak
• Clove hitch - to tie your boat to a pole, tree, railing, etc
  
• Chain Coil - to shorten Towline
  
• Cleat Hitch - tie your kayak to the dock
• Lark's Foot - attach whistle to pfd
