KAYAK: Part 1 Winter Paddler Workshop

This is Part 1 of 2 to become an NBBC Winter Paddler. It is a lecture & quiz  You must pass the quiz to take an on-water assessment at a later date. This is limited to 8 participants.

Please do not sign up if you are not an NBBC intermediate paddler.

To Sign up for the workshop  you must:

1. Be listed on our Members kayak roster as an NBBC intermediate paddler
   
2. Able to set up your kayak & gear.
3. Get into & out of your kayak unassisted at the dock. No one will hold your boat steady.
   

To be a Winter Paddler you must pass the verbal quiz during Part 1 AND go on the short paddle wearing a dry suit during Part 2

Part 1 - 11am - 1. Lecture & review of winter paddling safety & gear.  With Quiz you must pass.

Part 2 will be scheduled at a future date with those who pass the quiz.

Once you sign up you'll receive a link to the study doc. It contains the answers to the quiz.

Bring food and drink to share. Apple cider to heat on the stove is welcome.
