Let’s join our great canoe paddlers on a day-time (!) circumnavigation of Manhattan. A chance to actually see your insular city of the Manhattoes, belted round by wharves as Indian isles by coral reefs, a whole new way!
Depending on the conditions, this trip can take around ten hours of paddling with three breaks. It is for strong paddlers who have completed a number of advanced trips with NBBC, done rescue training and practiced wet exit from a decked sea kayak. A reservation will not automatically guarantee a spot on this trip and the final crew will be jointly selected by the participating trip leaders.
