In the harsh light of day! NBBC's first day-time circ of Manhattan. A chance to see your insular city of the Manhattoes, belted round by wharves as Indian isles by coral reefs, a whole new way! This is a trip for advanced paddlers. It will be around ten hours of paddling with three breaks. If you are not sure whether you are qualified for this trip, please e-mail Patterson (pbeckwith at the gmail) to ask. We can take only advanced paddlers who can paddle for up to three hours at a stretch (three times in a row!). We will be taking our war canoes, seven people in each. If the second canoe does not fill up, we will only take one boat, so please be aware of that before signing up. You'll need to bring some food, money for other food, plenty of water, and clothes for any weather we might encounter.
