Join us on this educational paddle deep into Newtown Creek. You'll learn about the history of the area, current environmental concerns such as CSOs, and hopefully see some local wildlife.
Since much of what we want to see is not visible at high tide, we will plan to be on the water for the ebb at 4:30 pm with low tide happening at 7:15 pm, just after sunset.
Along the way we'll paddle up to view the new Kosciuszko Bridge and then double back to the mouth of the creek to catch the sunset.
